By submitting a video, you are agreeing to give Shooting Stars Dance the right to edit, publish, use for marketing purposes and distribute it in any format including, but not limited to social media and digital distribution.  You assert that you have permission from all those in the video to allow this. We cannot guarantee the return of flash drives, although we will do our best!
​You are invited to participate in a virtual event hosted by Shooting Stars Dance!
Since our community holiday parades need to be cancelled this year, we have decided to do something a little different to spread cheer throughout our community and encourage everyone to shop locally.  We will be accepting video submissions and will edit them together into one virtual “parade” video that will be posted online, shared via social media and provided to participating groups to post on your websites/social media the first weekend in December.

Businesses can submit a short video of you and your staff sending holiday wishes to the community.  Videos should be 30 seconds or less and you are encouraged to include a discount code that will only be available to those who watch the video to help encourage sharing of the video.  Feel free to be as creative as you like, include products in the background, etc.  For best results, please leave some background in your video so we can zoom in as needed.

Performance Groups can submit a video of you performing with a max of 2 mins.  Please introduce your group and send any holiday wishes at the beginning of your video prior to your performance (max 20 secs).  Your introduction and the beginning of your performance will play alone and then business videos that have been submitted will be overlaid over the remainder of your performance.  For best results, please videotape in landscape (horizontal) mode to prevent parts of your video being cut off.

Videos need to be submitted by the end of the day on Nov. 23rd.  You can submit them via a Dropbox link below or by dropping them off on a flash drive at SSD (1402 Cloquet Ave, Cloquet) between 3-8pm Mon. through Thurs.

​There is NO COST to participate.  We only ask that you spread the word about the initial video release and then share the video as much as possible.  Let’s keep the Christmas spirit alive in our community this year TOGETHER!
